Il razionalismo spesso procede di pari passo con il piacere di vivere, perché chi pensa razionalmente di solito ritiene giusto poter godere nella vita di ciò che merita d’esser goduto.
D’altra parte il razionalismo esige che si osservi il mondo con sguardo limpido e spassionato, realistico e senza artifici. Ma allora non si tarderà a scoprire che la crudeltà e l’orrore della vita sono d’ostacolo al suo imperturbato godimento: bisognerà così, al pari del popolo romano con i suoi spettacoli gladiatorii, al pari di un Nerone o di una Borgia, trasfigurare l’orrore in bellezza per poter godere appieno della vita.
Oppure si dovranno tenere gli occhi chiusi davanti alla bruttezza ed alla crudeltà.
Si dovrà scegliere il bello perché diventi esteticamente “squisito” e consenta un godimento indisturbato.
Ma sia nell’uno che nell’altro caso, sia che si accetti la crudeltà o che la si neghi, si tratterà sempre, nonostante l’esigenza razionalistica, di eliminare ogni fronzolo di un artificioso rivestimento estetico del brutto, si tratterà di renderlo ipertrofico o edulcurato.
Insomma di nasconderlo dietro la “decorazione”.
A ciò è chiamato l’artista moderno, nel XXXI secolo più che mai, un secolo altrettanto razionale quanto lo era il cittadino romano e che, come quest’ultimo,costruisce imperi universali e macchine da guerra.
Ma non siamo né un Nerone né una Borgia. Ci si ritiene troppo umani per esserlo e, fino ad un certo punto, lo si è davvero.
Quando si corregge la visione del mondo abbellendola per renderla godibile, lo si fa per occultarne l’intera miseria.
E se questa è la missione dell’arte, niente dell’arte è realtà.
Al pari della vita stessa tutto è trucco …meravigliosa magia.
Biografia
Marco Rocca nasce a Bergamo il 30 Maggio 1963
Studia letteratura presso l’università della città alta, interessandosi fin da subito ai testi di filosofia

Rationalism, often, goes hand in hand with the pleasure of living, because who think in a rational way, usually, believes right be able to enjoy what deserves to be enjoyed.
On the other han rationalism requires the world to be observed with a clear and dispassionate gaze without artifice,
but then But then it will not be long before discovering that the cruelty and horror of life are an obstacle to his unperturbed enjoyment.
Ad so, as i happened to the roman people with his gladiators, as a Nerone or a Borgia, transfigure horror in beauty to enjoy life to the fullest,
Or keep your eyes closed to ugliness and cruelty.
But in one or the other case, accept or deny cruelty of life, it means always, despite the rationalistic need, eliminate every esthetic coating of hugly, it means make it hypertrophic or sweetened.
In short, to hide it behind the "decoration”.
To this is called a moder artist of the XXI century, same as for the roman citizen and that like this latter builds empires and universal war machines.
But we are not Nerone or NBorgia, we believe to be too much humans for that, and up to a certain extent it really is.
When When correcting the world view by beautifying it to make it enjoyable, to conceal its misery.
And if this is the art’s mission, nothing of the art is real
As for life .. everything is makeup … wonderful magic.
Biografy
Marco Rocca was born in the city of Bergamo on My 30 1963
He studyliteraturein the huniversity of the high city, soon interested on philosophical books.

In Bergamo Rocca has the chance to attend the clubs of the prestigious art academy Accademia Carrara and soon it became s great painting appassionate.
However i twill be after the paralysis that stroke him in 20012 and his consequent transfer to Tuscany land that Rocca starts his full and professional painting activity.
Today he lives in Tuscany dedicating body and soul to his art.
